First Look: A Song In Stone

Filed under: A Song In Stone, Commentary, Freemasonry, Writing — admin @ 15:35

This is the first look at the cover for A Song In Stone, available in November 2008 in hardcover. It’s already available for preorder online, and I’ll have a link to it shortly.

It’s really happening. I have ARCs (Advanced Reading Copies) in my hands; this image (not final) was scanned from the cover.

  2. Very pretty. Do you know who the artist is?

  3. It’s a photograph actually. The editor decided that she’d use an actual photo instead of commissioning or buying a piece of art. This is the Apprentice Pillar, the most famous piece of statuary at Rosslyn (see my own entry about Rosslyn for more information.

It really does look good, though. I have some new business cards with the cover image on them, following the Rob Sawyer rule that your new book cover should always be on your business card.

  4. Looks **great**.

I can’t read music, but if I had to guess, I’d say “Stairway to Heaven.” Did I win?

  6. Wow! I think this is the first book where your name appears MUCH LARGER than the book’s title. Way to go. I’m sure others will agree that it’s the best thing you’ve ever written, and that’s saying something. Good luck with it.
